I’m trying to find a CYOA I think you might have done on questionable questing or somewhere.
The cyoa:
You died or fell out of reality or something and ended up in a fairly inhospitable world in front of an eldritch merchant of some kind. You had some currency, the most expensive was jade. You could buy various powers off of him, there were physical powers, colour magic powers, speaking phrases powers and items and maybe other things.
The colour magic affected you emotionally and the most powerful was red or crimson or something and it made you ambitious.
The speaking phrases were phrases from a work of art from some high up god somewhere and when you spoke them they had magical effects, like shooting a bullet and such. The more phrases you knew the easier it was to learn new phrases.
I don’t remember much else but it was really good. If it was you, could you please tell me where to find it? If it wasn’t you then maybe you have heard of it? It felt like your style of cyoa. I remember really liking the setting.
It was not me. I don’t recall the name, but it should be somewhere in one of Rihaku’s threads on Sufficient Velocity. One of his Cursebearer quests… I think the one with Lord Hunger.
